Dr. Chen graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. He then went on to obtain his optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2015, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Beta Sigma Kappa Honors. He has worked in private and corporate optometry practices and has also externship experience in medical optometry. He is experienced in primary eye care and provides glasses prescriptions and fits patients in a wide variety of contact lenses. He diagnoses ocular health issues including but not limited to cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration, and treats many conditions including red eyes/infections, ocular allergies, dry eyes, and more.

Dr. Chen is passionate about empowering patients with knowledge about their eyes and strives to put them in the driver's seat of keeping their eyes in optimal condition. He enjoys traveling the world, following his favorite sports teams, and spending time with his wife and 2 young children.
